CVC Capital acquired a 47.5% stake in Pilot Travel Centers from Marathon Petroleum in September 2008 and retained The Lancer Group to recruit a world-class petroleum executive who could bring a macro perspective on fuel hedging, sourcing, and shipping.

According to Tank Storage Magazine, Vitol generates revenues in excess of $191 Billion, ships more than 5 Million barrels of crude daily, and charters a fleet of more than 3,000 ships annually. Vitol’s main operations are based in Geneva, Houston, Singapore, and London. Based at the company’s Charleston, S.C.-headquarters, she will lead Blackbaud’s product innovation and marketing efforts starting November 16.

The Lancer Group has successfully recruited Doron Grosman to Court Square Partners as the private equity firm’s first Resource Partner.

Since 1980, Court Square has invested over $4.5 Billion in more than 150 transactions, generating more than $14 Billion in returns to investors and partners. Court Square spun out of Citigroup as an independent entity in 2006.

Court Square initiated the search for a senior operating executive that would complement the deal team.
